Since autumn 2009, USAS American student organization ( United Students Against Sweatshops ) is campaigning against the French company Sodexo, a leading multinational food group that manages many university cafeterias in the United States. USAS is an organization dedicated to providing students with the solidarity of workers in struggle.
In the U.S., Sodexo was a champion of exploitation, insecurity and anti-union repression. USAS is working in close union with combative unions of employees of Sodexo.
there, the campaign has already resulted in only 6 universities break contracts that bound them to Sodexo. In many others, the mobilization of students is running.
Members of USAS are present in France for several days. They call for a demonstration on the occasion of the general meeting of shareholders of Sodexo. The appointment:
